Due to its unique functional properties, silk fibroin-based hydrogel is considered to be an excellent candidate for many applications. However, the conventional silk fibroin-based hydrogel suffers from the disadvantages of irreversible mechanical properties, lack of energy dissipation mechanism, poor responsiveness to the application environment, insufficient adhesion to the solid-state interface, and lack of intelligent behavior, which hinder the full utilization of silk fibroin-based hydrogel.
