Typically, the polymer network structure of PVP-based hydrogel can be formed by chemical cross-linking, physical cross-linking, or both. By adjusting the molecular weight, concentration, and crosslinking density of the polymer, the mechanical strength and swelling behavior can be easily controlled to make it a material with specific properties to meet the needs of various applications.
